CUT THE CRAP, not YOUR CHARACTER

A CONVERSATIONAL COPYWRITER WHO HELPS YOu

Chances are, if you’re second-guessing your copy, you’ll add more and more words in an attempt to convince your readers that your brand is their long-lost solution… until it’s nearly impossible for them to filter through all that fluff and figure out whether they’ve landed in the right place.

It’s hard to communicate simply. And it’s even harder to get your dream clients to notice how cool you are and how damn good your work is before they get distracted by the next tab in their browser.

With copy that’s both full of character and focused on conversions, your dream clients no longer need to sift through a sea of options, because they’ve finally found their perfect fit… you.

With me in your corner, you can stop worrying if your copy is losing your readers' attention before they learn that you're the one for them.
I’m all about copy that sounds less salesy to help you sell MORE. Because copy that sounds how you talk, makes your readers feel like they're talking to a friend, guiding them to a better way… not a robot using fluff and false promises just to make a sale.

Let's Work Together

“Before working with Shannon, I felt like I was saying a lot and nothing at all at the same time."

— Vanessa L.

"I knew what I wanted to say, but when I started writing, I would say too much. My services were getting lost in all the extra noise.

Now my copy is saying what I need it to say with less words, but
more importantly, the right words. It still has personality, it sounds like me,
it’s client-focused, and it gives me the confidence to move forward."

Why Sieve?

Sieves separate the necessary from the unnecessary. Just like a sieve, I'll help you sift through everything you want to say, keeping only what your dreamiest clients need to hear (and ditching the rest). In the end, you're left with intentional copy that helps them confidently take the next step with you.

Let's get on a first-name basis.

I’m a midwestern first-time mom married to my high school sweetheart, probably baking my weekly batch of chocolate chip cookies (the Joanna Gaines recipe, duh), redecorating my house in my head with the latest McGee & Co. line, or planning which room I’ll wallpaper next.

My writing sessions are either fueled by Freddie Mercury or deep focus white noise… there’s no in-between. But whenever I need to refuel, I head to northern Michigan to slow down and enjoy the fresh air and freshwater (shark-free water only forever and always, please and thank you).

I also recently started cross stitching, dust my baseboards often, and spend many a Friday night playing Scrabble. I’m basically your website-loving grandma, with all of the I-want-you-to-enjoy-life energy (and fewer technical difficulties, hopefully).

ICYMI, my Name's shannon. And youRs?

Highly relatable copy? Robots could never.

In the age of AI-littered communications, it’s more important than ever to be your true, human self. Meaning, you should let your character come through, with casual copy that sounds less like a sales pitch and more like a conversation between friends.
